Last night the two co-owners of Wacken Open Air festival in Wacken village, Germany had a speech in front of the metal fans who visited the festival this year despite the rain, the mud and all the problems, caused by the bad weather.

They thanked the people who did not stay at home but were there, who showed that Wacken fans are a strong community and a family that unites when there is a need, facing all the troubles together in a such an unprecedented situation.

After the speech, there was a great light show and some of the bands for the 2024 edition of the festival were announced.

Names as Amon Amarth, Beast in Black, Blind Guardian, Bury Tomorrow, In Extremo, Pain, Primordial, Soil, Scorpions, Sonata Arctica, Unleash the Archers, Xandria are amongst the first bands in the new program.
