The Swedish symphonic metal band Therion will release a new album in December. Its name is “Leviathan III”. To this time they released new singles – “Twilight of the Gods” and “Ruler of Tamag”. In the second one, AI is used for the creation of the videoclip.
Christofer Johnsson, the composer and the founder of Therion, wrote a long opinion about the good and the bad sides of AI on social media. He decided to give the opportunity to the band’s Turkish fans to create videos for the song.
Therion posted on their official Facebook page: “So you’re from Türkiye and you didn’t like the AI produced lyrics video of “Ruler of Tamag” full of Arabic content? Fair enough.
Well, here’s a challenge for you: Do a better lyric video (your self or engage someone you know) and we will make it official and replace the current AI one with your video. You will also be rewarded with free entrance to any (or all) of the shows we will do in Türkiye in support of Leviathan III.” The deadline is November 15.
“Ruler of Tamag” is a 7-minute-long song with a Turkish chorus, and other 5 songs from the new album have Spanish chorus.
