Bruce Dickinson released the “Afterglow of Ragnarok” video

The legendary British heavy metal singer Bruce Dickinson announced a song from his upcoming solo album “The Mandrake Project”. The album will be released on March 1, via BMG. It is recorded mainly at Los Angeles’s Doom Room with the guitarist Roy G, who played the solo and the bass guitar parts, Mistheria on the keyboards, and Dave Moreno on the drums. The three performers worked previously with Bruce Dickinson on the album “Tyranny of Souls”, 2005.

The video for the song “Afterglow of Ragnarok” reveals the main character from the dark saga of power and battle for identity, “The “Mandrake Project”- d-r Necropolis – and the short eight-page story in the comic-book prequel that will be published in the seven-inch vinyl version of the album.

“The Mandrake Project” is not only a music album but also a dark fantasy comic-story, written by Brice Dickinson, scripted by Tony Lee, and illustrated by Staz Johnson for Z2 Comics. It will be published in 12 three-month editions collected in three annual graphic novels. The first of them will be released in the comic shops on January 1, 2024.
