Therion has released “Leviathan III”

The Swedish symphonic metal band Therion released their new album “Leviathan III” – the third from the trilogy – “Leviathan I” (2021), “Leviathan II” (2022), and now – “Leviathan III”. The new album has classical metal guitar riffs, female vocals, a chorus, operatic, symphonic, and very melodic sound. It is one of the best band’ albums in all their discography. It is a true feast for the senses. The band changed the recording label from Nuclear Blast to Napalm Records. Nuclear Blast was acquired by Believe, a streaming music distributor. The band received the “Leviathan II” on a LP eleven months after its record because the streaming distributor has changed the personnel. Nuclear Blast gave only two-week delivery time because they bought their own plant to make copies due to high demand. The frontman, composer, and producer of Therion, Christofer Johnsson, said that he prefers vinyls instead of streaming because he is financially independent and he is doing things in his own way, for the quality that he wants, not for the money.
