One of the best festivals in Europe and the largest in Eastern Europe is Rockstadt Extreme Fest. It is located in Romania, in the heart of Transylvania, next to the Rasnov Tower and near the city of Rasnov.

Rockstadt Extreme Fest is a heavy metal festival which is held at the beginning of August. It started in 2013 with a 3-day performances featuring headliners such as Gojira, Napalm Death, Primordial, and Septicflesh. The festival attracts many famous heavy metal bands. Some of the names in the next years are: Cradle of Filth, Heaven Shall Burn, Bullet for My Valentine, Blind Guardian, Paradise Lost, W.A.S.P., In Flames, Rotting Christ, Kreator.

The 2024 edition will present bands like Abbath, Opeth, Behemoth, Saxon, Dimmu Borgir, Sodom, Kreator, Lacuna Coil, Napalm Death, Testament, Eluveitie, Bury Tomorrow, Orden Ogan and others. Be prepared for six days of fantastic music and atmosphere.
