The 10th edition of the Romanian festival for heavy metal and extreme music, Rockstadt Extreme Fest, began on July 30 at the base of Rasnov Tower. Once again, the City of Rasnov is filled with metal fans who are sitting in the restaurants and have rented the hotel rooms. At this time of the year, is hard to find accommodation here. The campgrounds are also full of members of the metal brotherhood, who came from all over the world to see their favorite bands.

The highlight of the first evening was the concert of the Polish extreme metal band Behemoth, which started after the wild performance of Cattle Decapitation. Behemoth kicked off their “O, Father, O Satan, O Svmmer” European Tour following their successful concert in the Philharmonie de Paris Hall. The band performs with a different drummer because their member Prominski has health issues.
