“Solid Rock Revival” is a studio album made for children, released in August 2024. It contains original songs and remakes of the band Rock For Children, led by the legendary Alice Cooper. Other musicians are Slash from Guns N’ Roses, Rob Halford from Judas Priest and Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels from Run-D.M.C. Joe Norelli is the executive producer. Engineer, producer, and songwriter is Ruben Salas, credited for multiple Grammy Awards in several different genres. They both worked with the producer, artist, and studio owner Dana Kamide /founder of Berliner Microphones/ to co-write, produce, and record the album’s songs.

“Solid Rock Revival” has 13 songs. Alice Cooper appears in a remake of his classic 1970s hit “No More Mr. Nice Guy”. He re-penned the lyrics and called the song “Now I’m Mr. Nice Guy”. He also recorded “I’m Thirteen”, “School’s Out, No Bummer”, and “Monster Mash”. Rob Halford sings “Pleasant Dreams”, DMC appears in “In The Midday Hour”. Slash plays the guitar for “Freewheelin'” — a duet with Alice and his daughter Calico Cooper. Grammy Award winner 123 Andres performs “Vamos Mis Amigos”, and the rock duo Radio Nube, a TikTok sensation from Mexico, recorded “Sugarrush”. The personal and the teenagers from Rock For Children are also involved in the album.

Incomes from the sale of the album, from live concerts and special events, will benefit the Norelli Family Foundation and Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock charity (founded in 1995), located in Phoenix, Arizona. Alice Cooper and his wife, Sherryl Cooper, founded Solid Rock Center to help the teenagers to find out their artistic talents. The Solid Rock Centers include music lessons, dance, and professional training in sound, lighting, and staging, all in a friendly environment. The programs are free for teenagers from 12 to 20 years old.

The Norelli Family Foundation provides help to children and young adults in need. It was founded in 2013 and has worked to help improve the lives of those young people most in need. The Foundation works in a partnership with many other charity organizations – St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock, New Hope For Kids, Florida USA VB, The Colton Society, The Steve Azar St. Cecilia Foundation, and the Sunshine State Kids.
