There is a chance that the American heavy metal band Nevermore will be back in 2025. There is a video on their official website that announces, “A new chapter arises.” The band’s guitarist Jeff Loomis and the ex-Nevermore drummer Van Williams have also posted the same video on their Instagram walls. Nevermore stopped the recording of new albums and concert activity because of vocalist Warrel Dane’s death in 2017. He died of a heart attack in São Paulo, Brazil, while working on his second solo album, “Shadow Work”. He was known for his work with Sanctuary and Nevermore.
Jeff Loomis played with Nevermore until 2010, when he and the drummer Van Williams decided to leave because of musical differences with Warrel Dane. Jeff started to work on his solo projects and later began to play with Arch Enemy. He recorded four albums with them and left them in 2023.
For now, it is not clear who will be the new vocalist and who else will play in Nevermore.
