The Italian gothic band Lacuna Coil announced a new tour in the fall of 2025 with their special guests Nonpoint – a nu metal band from America. Access to pre-sales is with a special code SLEEPLESS2025 on www.lacunacoil.com.
Lacuna Coil will release the long-expected new album “Sleepless Empire” on February 14, via Century Media Records. In an interview with Luke Morton of Kerrang!, the vocalist Christina Scabbia says that the title of the album is chosen because it represents the time we are living in today. It shows the people’s lives always in a hurry and with an endless competition with time and technologies. It captures the new generation trapped in a digital world with losing their identity in the social media, becoming zombies little by little. It all is one “Sleepless Empire”. The album contains 11 songs with dark cinematic melodies.
Lacuna Coil are: Cristina Scabbia – vocals, Andrea Ferro – vocals, Marco Coti Zelati – bass, guitar, synths, Richard Meiz – drums. The band’s long term guitarist Diego Cavallotti left the previous year and the Italian guitarist and producer Daniele Salomone has joined Lacuna Coil. Salomone made his premiere with the band on Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2024.
