The Spanish festival for rock and metal music, Barcelona Rock Fest, announced a new headliner – King Diamond. The Danish star with his screaming vocals, dark music and a captivating horror show will enchant the crowds on June 28. In 2008 He was nominated for Grammy Awards in the “Best Metal Performance” category with the song “Never Ending Hill” from his album “Give Me Your Soul…Please” (2007).

Other bands joining the line-up are Soziedad Alkoholika, a Spanish crossroad trash metal band, Wind Rose, an Italian power metal band, The Baboon Show, a Swedish punk band, Avatarium, a doom metal band from Sweden, the Finnish folk melodic metal band Ensiferum, the Indonesian death metal band Koma, Masters From Hell – a tribute band to Pantera and Metallica, the Spanish rock band Sínkope, Deborah Bonham – a rock and blues singer from England, the rockers Pölvora from Spain, the AC/DC tribute band T.N.T., Moonlit Haze – power/symphonic metal band, leaded by Chiara Tricarico, the Spanish trash metal band Radity, and the French heavy metal band Rise of the North Star.
