Today the Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie released their ninth album, “Ànv” via Nuclear Blast Records. The album has 12 tracks. It starts with an impressive melodic intro and throws us into a wild trash-folk metal sound with a violin, the melodic vocals of Fabienne Erni and the roaring of Chrigel Glanzmann.

The album has hits like the ballads “Ànv”, “All Is One” and the melodic “Awen”. They are surrounded by the hard sound of “Taranoías”, “The Prodigal Ones”, “Premonition” and “The Harvest”. “Memories Of Innocence” is a pure folk guitar-violin instrumental duet. “The Prophecy” is the final song in an ancient language. Chrigel Glanzmann explained on the social media that “Anv” is a conceptual album, based on a several-thousand-year-old ancient text, which content is something like a prophecy. Now the band shares the message with us.
