Metallica announced a new live video for their 1988’s hit “One”. The American metal idols captured the “One” performance at a concert on April 19, at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York. Metallica also released a professional captured video “Holier Than Thou” from the concert at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on April 24. These concerts are part of the M72 Tour, which continues in 2025. It started in Amsterdam, April 2023, with two concert evenings in every city, with a totally different set each evening. The “No Repeat Weekend” show has reached three million visitors since then.
A part of the ticket prices is going to Metallica’s charity foundation, “All Within My Hands”, established in 2017. The foundation gave over $3.6 million to combat food insecurity and more than $3.5 million to disaster relief efforts. In addition, “All Within My Hands” supports career and technical education programs. One of them is the “Metallica Scholars Initiative”
Metallica will release a remastered version of their 5x-platinum album “Load”, and it will be available everywhere on June 13th. Produced by Bob Rock, “Load” contains fan favorites including “Until It Sleeps,” “Hero of the Day,” “King Nothing,” and, for the first time ever, the original extended version of “The Outlaw Torn,” which was originally edited due to manufacturing limits. At the end of April, Metallica released a remastered version of “Until It Sleeps”.
