The Swedish band Avatar has released their new song “Captain Goat”. It uses a motif of Satan, epic choruses and folk metal melodies. The frontman, Johannes Eckerström, said that “It will always be metal. It will always be AVATAR. We will never do the same song twice, and we will always find ways to reinvent ourselves.” The video for the song is created together with Johan Carlen. It contains motives from mythology, motives of Satan, and the travel through the spiritual world.

Avatar will go on tour to support the titans Iron Maiden and Metallica.
