The Finnish metal band Amorphis, in a collaboration with the Helsinki Distilling Company, an internationally awarded craft distillery from Finland, has created a limited-edition Amorphis Whiskey. It will be presented at Tuska Festival in Helsinki. This announced Amorphis on social media. The new drink has aged for six years in bourbon, sherry and Islay casks. It was produced from 100% Finnish rye and barley malt, and it has a taste of sherry, light smokiness, rye spice, dried fruit, and dark chocolate notes, with a finish of long, smooth, spicy rye. The limited edition is from 2,000 bottles of size 50 cl., each individually numbered. They can be found in select restaurants in Finland, the Helsinki Distilling Company’s Tislaamo-Distillery Bar, in Germany, France and Japan, and can be ordered online from the German shop of Amorphis.

The new Amorphis Whiskey combines its taste with the Finnish mythology, the power of grain, and the musical depth. The international release date of the drink is July 15th.
