The first night of Midalidare Rock 2025 was a big success. The opening band was Tungsten. They had an emotional concert and the crowd was happy to sing with them. The next band, Brainstorm, has raised the fans impatience. Their melodic refrains and virtuoso solos captured the hearts of the listeners. Orden Ogan put on a show with theatrical elements and fireworks. The main headliners Manowar had a visual stylized concept with the paintings of Ken Kelly a fantasy artist well known for his illustrations of Conan the Barbarian. He worked with the bands KISS and Manowar, and for Hollywood movie productions such as Sleepy Hollow. There was even a cinematic, game-like video. The band had a requirement for the public to take no photos with cameras, no video, no sound records, no records, and no pictures with a phone. Just like in the year before the smartphones and camera phones. They performed some of their greatest hits ever – “All Men Play On Ten”, “The Blood Of My Enemies”, and others. Of course, they didn’t miss to perform the Bulgarian hymn, and Joey DeMaio had a Bulgarian speech about music, friendship and…rakia.The concert finished with fires, confetti, and fireworks over the stage.
