The German folk metal band In Extremo will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a festival “30 Jahre In Extremo – Das Jubiläumsfestival.” It will be held on the 4th, the 5th and the 6th of September on the Lorelei Open Air Stage. Sonic Seducer, Metal Hammer и Rock Antenne are presenting this festival. Other favorite German metal bands will take part in the show. In Extremo will be headliners on each evening.

“We are proud and happy that so many top-class bands, musicians, and performers have accepted our invitation to spend these special days with us and to surely provide our audience with one of the greatest concert experiences of 2025. This won’t happen again in this form anytime soon, and we are already full of anticipation for this magical weekend together with our fans,” said In Extremo frontman Michael Rhein.

Feuerschwanz, Faun, Schandmaul, Metaklapa, Eisbrecher, Versengold, Fiddler’s Green, Manntra, Ye Banished Privateers, Seasons In Black, Asp, Wind Rose, Clawfinger, Dritte Wahl, Tanzvut, and Rauhbein will perform on the festival days.

In Extremo are one of the greatest innovators of contemporary music. They combine Middle Ages sounds and melodies with a modern hard rock and heavy metal sound, to achieve their original sound. This year the band released their 13th album, “Wolkenschieber”. In 2024 they achieved a grand success. They had a second position in the German charts. They headlined Wacken Open Air, had a big tour and their own In Extremo festival, “Weckt die Toten,” was sold out and visited by over 10,000 people.
