Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2025

The last day of Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2025 was an epic final blast.

The Americans Dope had a delay and a very short but very good performance. Their fans went mad. After them, Party Cannon made a wild and very happy mood concert. The people made a circle pit, jumped, surfed over the crowd, and sang. AFLMSMP, Swallow The Sun, Draconian, Agnostic Front are some of the bands that performed. The band from Maramuresh, Dirty Shirt, had a stunning show. Their music with folk, funk, metal, electro, and progressive elements threw the crowd in ecstasy. At one moment the vocalist Dan jumped in a boat that surfed over the crowd and sang from it.

Static-X put on a fantastic show with robots on stage. At 10:00 PM there were fireworks to the tune of Ozzy Osbourne’s “See You on the Other Side”. The organizers paid tribute to him. They thanked the festival’s current home, Rasnov. Then the main headliner of the evening started – the iconic Brazilian band Sepultura. The audience was thrilled to see and hear favourite songs like “Roots Bloody Roots” and “Refuse/Resist”. After Sepultura there were the Wardruna’s magical folk concert and the finale with Marduk.

The next year the festival will be held in Ghimbav near Brasov. The new location is bigger and will give more space for camping grounds and new attractions. The organizers will keep the three-stage format in 2026. Some of the names for the new festival edition are already known: Helloween, Accept, Godsmack, In Flames, In Extremo, Nevermore, Thy Art Is Murder, Igorrr, Deicide, Of Mice And Men, Preturbator, and others.
