The thrash metal veterans Testament will release a new album on October 10th, 2025, via Nuclear Blast Records. The new album’s title, “Para Bellum”, comes from the Latin phrase “Si vis pacem, para bellum” — “If you want peace, prepare for war”. The album is mixed for the first time by Jens Bogren. The cover art is a painting from Eliran Kantor. After Five years after the release of “Titans of Creation”, now the new album is both a continuation of the previous album and yet a new war of trash metal sounds. “Para Bellum” includes nine fast songs and, for the first time in many years, one ballad.
