
70,000 Tons Of Metal, the world’s largest heavy metal cruise ship, has announced its first lineup for 2026. The cruise will sail from January 29th to February 2nd from Miami, Florida, to Nassau, Bahamas. There will be 3,000 tickets sold, 120 concerts, karaoke until sunrise, and shore excursions with favorite artists.
70 000 Tons Of Metal is famous for always going the extra mile to present its Sailors with exclusive experiences has just announced another highlight for the 2026 sailing: Dutch Death/Thrash Giants IZEGRIM will celebrate their band reunion on board, playing their first shows since 2019 during the festival-at-sea’s next edition from Miami, FL to Nassau, The Bahamas and back from January 29 through February 2, 2026, aboard Royal Caribbean’s luxury cruise ship Freedom of the Seas.

Founded in 1996 and originally disbanded in 2019, IZEGRIM last played 70000TONS OF METAL in 2014, when they won the fan-created Cripper Award for best newcomer. Now they are ready to return in their longest standing formation, with which they released three major albums and toured all over Europe (together with Entombed, Destruction, Arch Enemy, Onslaught, and Flotsam & Jetsam). The band’s two shows on board will not only mark their reunion but also celebrate the 30th anniversary of IZEGRIM and add another highlight for Sailors onboard The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise.
Vocalist and bassist Marloes Voskuil is beyond excited to be back on board: “It’s been way too long since we last sailed the 70000TONS OF METAL — all the way back in 2014! What a ride that was: unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and even taking home the Cripper award. Now, in 2026, Izegrim is making its epic reunion, and we couldn’t be more excited! With this one-of-a-kind moment, 70000TONS OF METAL, The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise continues its tradition of writing Heavy Metal history year after year and of delivering an unforgettable experience with 60 metal bands from around the globe, playing not only once, but twice, across four stages – including the legendary Pool Deck Stage, The World’s Biggest Open Air Stage Structure to Ever Sail the Open Seas. The ship offers round-the-clock entertainment, artist-hosted activities and events, exclusive meet-and-greets, and the unique opportunity for fans to mingle with their metal heroes in a completely immersive environment.
With 42 of 60 bands already announced and ticket sales in full swing, Sailors originating from over 80 Nations around the World should make sure to get ready and not miss the experience of a lifetime onboard this floating festival in the Caribbean – and join The United Nations Of Heavy Metal At Sea.
