Today the legendary German power metal band Helloween released the new album “Giants & Monsters” via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM). Helloween again used the successful formula of the three vocalists -Michael Kiske, Andi Deris, and Kai Hansen. The result is another fantastic power metal album. The release will have a Double LP Gatefold and Picture (incl. bonus track), Jewelcase, CD Digipak (incl. bonus track), and Earbook (incl. bonus CD). Four years after Helloween’s self-titled album, they created a new masterpiece for their 40th anniversary. There will be a great celebration on the 40th Anniversary Tour across Europe, Asia, and North and Latin America, starting this fall.
The cover is another stunning piece of artwork by Eliran Kantor. It depicts a giant, similar to the Headless Horseman, fighting a monstrous creature.
Today the band released a video for its third single “A Little Is A Little Too Much”. It is a rock song featuring the vocals of Andi Deris and Michael Kiske.
Andi Deris comments on the song: “I wanted to write something about the last drop that causes a huge flooding – a little is a little too much. The story itself is a bit erotic. It’s about my first experiences when I was a teenager. You always dream about having sex and finally once you have it you realise: Okay, it took one second that something happened that you didn’t want in that moment. And here we go: A little is a little too much, better don’t move or don’t touch. But in the end, it is about all the minor things that get out of hand with this little bit more, and then it’s a little too much.”
HELLOWEEN is:
Michael Kiske – Vocals
Andi Deris – Vocals
Kai Hansen – Guitars, Vocals
Michael Weikath – Guitars
Sascha Gerstner – Guitars
Markus Großkopf – Bass
Dani Loeble – Drums
