Wolf Fest – The Wolf Path Announces The WOLF HUNT! A Competition For New Rock Talents Near Chelopech, Bulgaria

Wolf Fest – The Wolf Path has announced WOLF HUNT, a competition for young Bulgarian bands on October 11th, 2025, in Korminesh Park, near Chelopech, Bulgaria. Wolf Fest – The Wolf Path is one of the established Bulgarian festivals with international and Bulgarian metal and rock musicians. It was created in 2019 by the famous Bulgarian festival organizer Tsonko Tsonev – Kmetala, that organized Kavarna Rock Fest from 2006 to 2016. The bands for the first edition of Wolf Fest were Krossfire, Silked and Stained, Scarlet Aura, Cradle of Filth, and Krossfire. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in 2020 and 2021 the festival wasn’t provided. Some of the bands for 2022 were Amorphis, Candlemass, Grave Digger, Wolfheart, Konkurent, Urban Grey, and Drive Your Life. In 2023 and 2024 the festival wasn’t provided.

This year the organizers want to focus the attention on the new Bulgarian rock talents and the future of Bulgarian rock music. They will provide the WOLF HUNT competition for the first time. The participation is for free, and the one and only condition is that the bands have at least one author song to perform on stage. They have to send a short biography and a link to a short demo record to the official festival website – www.wolfpath-rockfest.com. The audience will determine the winner on the spot. The third place will bring to the winner 500 leva, the second place – 1000 leva, and the first place will bring to the winner a sound recording in a professional studio and a video clip of the winner’s original song. This is a true change for a new band to break into the music scene.

The concert will be free for the visitors of the festival, and hundreds of people are expected. A special free tent camp will be created for them.

The event is organized by Konkurent Music with the assistance of the Chelopech Municipality. The edition is dedicated to the memory of Ilko Iliev – Finiza, the main driver of Wolf Fest – Wolf Path.
