The former guitarist of Kiss, Ace Frehley, has died on October 16, 2025, at the age of 74. The musician fell in his own recording studio a few weeks ago, after he had a brain bleed. He was hospitalized, but he died.

Ace “Spaceman” Frehley had recorded with Kiss their first nine albums, and he left them. He returned in 1996 and recorded with them the album “Psycho Circus” (1998). After it, he left again in 2002 after their first farewell tour. He was a Kiss former member together with Paul Stanley, Gene Simson, and Peter Criss. In 2014 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame with the rest of the former Kiss members. He has a solo carrier and eight studio albums.

His family has published the following statement: “We are completely devastated and heartbroken. In his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth. We cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter, and celebrate his strengths and kindness that he bestowed upon others. The magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions, and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Ace’s memory will continue to live on forever!”

Frehley passed away in Morristown, New Jersey, surrounded by his family.
