The Swedish melodic death metal supergroup The Halo Effect will have a concert in Sofia, Bulgaria. The event is organized by Fest Team and will be on November 21st in Pirotska 5 Event Center from 19:00h.

The Halo effect was founded in 2019 by In Flames members, the early vocalist Mikael Stanne, the guitarist Jesper Strömblad, and long-time members the guitarist Niclas Engelin, the bass player Peter Iwers, and drummer Daniel Svensson. The band has two albums, “Days Of The Lost” (2022) and “March Of The Unheard” (2025). Their music immediately had world recognition. Now they prepare an EP with covers, “We Are Shadows”, which will be released via Nuclear Blast Records. They already published some of the singles – Danzig’s cover “How The Gods Kill”, the song “If You Were Here” (with the original title “Om Du Var Har”) by the Swedish pop legends Kent, W.A.S.P.’s hit “I Wanna Be Somebody”, and the song by the supergroup Phenomena, “Dance With The Shadows”. The premiere of the EP will be November 21st, when the band will play in Sofia. After it they will have concerts in Turkey, Japan and Finland. In 2026 The Halo Effect will go on Heimat Over Europe Tour with Heaven Shall Burn, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Frozen Soul.
