The Swedish power metal band Sabaton will play for the first time at Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2026. Sabaton are favorites of the fans all over the world with their historical military hymns. Their last album “Legends”, presents the lives of emblematic historical figures. Joan of Arc, Vlad the Impaler, Julius Caesar, Hannibal, Napoleon Bonaparte, and the legendary master of the swords Miyamoto Musashi. With this album the band is focused on the world’s history, not on World War I and II as before.

The next year Rockstadt Extreme Fest will be for the first time in Ghimbav near Brasov. The organizers of the biggest European festival for extreme music found a new, bigger place for its twelfth edition. They want to enlarge the format of the festival, which cannot stay the same because of the rising number of visitors all over Europe. Rockstadt Extreme Fest is created from fans for the fans, and the organizers want to offer the best experience to the people. The festival will be held from July 27 to July 31, 2026. There will be a Black Friday for 1000 festival tickets at the price of 1050 lei (around €200). This offer runs until November 15 or until the tickets sell out. The camping passes are available for 220 RON (about €40). They are from the Sunday before the festival to the next Sunday, for eight nights. The festival program will include names such as Helloween, Godsmack, Accept, Nevermore, Lamb Of God, Arch Enemy, The Gathering, Amorphis, In Extremo, Black Label Society, and many more.
