After the news that Iron Maiden will play in Sofia, Bulgaria with their historical tour “Run For Your Lives” 2026, now the legendary band Anthrax has announced that they will be special guests on the concert in the National Stadium “Vasil Levski”. The show will be one of the strongest events for the next year. Anthrax are one of the best thrash metal bands in the world and one of the iconic Big Four with Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth. They are coming from New York and are the flagship of the eastern thrash scene in the USA. The distinctive guitar style of Scott Ian and the strong, recognizable sound of drummer Charlie Benante, who most recently played in Bulgaria and behind the drums of Pantera, create the characteristic sound of the band and are among the reasons why Anthrax continues to be an influential force in the genre.

Iron Maiden have already announced that the “Run For Your Lives” tour, dedicated to the band’s 50th anniversary, will include repertoire from the key early years of their career, presented in the most grandiose show they have ever done.
