The German supergroup Avantasia will play for the first time in Sofia on June 10th, 2026. They are invited by Bulgarian Live Music and will perform in Asics Arena. The band has a 25-year career and concerts at the world’s biggest festivals and stages. Frontman Tobias Samet formed Avantasia in 1999, when he was 21 years old, and since then he has fulfilled his dream of playing with many successful world-famous musicians. He invited Alice Cooper, Michael Kiske, Floor Jansen, Rudolf Schenker, Dee Snider, and many other artists to his metal opera projects. Avantasia has ten successful albums, and for example, “Moonglow” has reached N1 in the charts, with fully sold-out world tours. The band’s albums are in the “metal opera” genre.
