The German rock/metal band Avantasia will perform in Sofia, Bulgaria, on June 10, 2026. The organizer of the concert is Bulgarian Live Music, and the band will play for the first time in Sofia. The star formation will perform in Asics Arena Sofia.
The supergroup Avantasia was created in 1999 by Edguy’s vocalist Tobias Sammet. Since the first single in 2000, the songs have been in the metal opera genre. Tobias Sammet’s dream to perform his music with his musical heroes became true. Through the years he worked with many famous artists: Michael Kiske, Alice Cooper, Dee Snider, Floor Jansen, Joe Lynn Turner, Rudolf Schenker and others. The concert in Sofia, Bulgaria, is a part of Avantasia’s “Here Be Dragons” tour, following the release of their latest album with the same name in February 2025. Tickets can be found here.
