The Ancient Theatre of Plovdiv will be shaken by the exclusive show of the Portuguese band Moonspell with an orchestra.

In 2024 the legendary band Moonspell performed “Opus Diabolicum” for the first time at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. Almost two years later this event will be recreated at the Antique Theatre in Plovdiv. Moonspell will perform their most famous songs with an orchestra of 50 members and a chorus. The Ancient Theatre of Philippopolis in Plovdiv, built in the 2nd century AD under Emperor Trajan, is one of the world’s best-preserved Roman theaters. Located in the Old Town, this iconic 3,000–6,000 seat venue is still actively used for concerts, operas, and shows. The The Moonspell concert “Opus Diabolicum” is exclusive for the Balkans, and the organizer is BGTSC. This will be the biggest production of Moonspell in the Balkans ever.

Tickets for the unique concert will be sold from 11:00 on December 22, Monday, online and in the Eventim network (Eventim.bg) throughout the country. Some of the places where they can be purchased are Orange bookstores, OMV gas stations, Na Tamno stores, Office 1, Technopolis, Bulgarian Post offices, and others. The electronic version of the tickets does not need to be printed but can be scanned at the entrance directly from a phone.

The organizer BGTSG is a well-known organizer of concerts and festivals and a member of the “Scene and Music” Association, which complies with the ethical code adopted by the majority of organizers in Bulgaria.
