Therion Releases “Draconian Trilogy” From “Con Orquesta” Concert Album

The Swedish symphonic metal band Therion released the “Draconian Trilogy” from the “Con Orquesta” concert album. Recorded in Mexico City in 2024 in front of 11 000 people, the live album will be out on January 30th, 2026, via Napalm Records. The monumental performance will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray with stunning detail.

The “Draconian Trilogy” is a masterpiece from the album “Vovin” (the name “Vovin” means “dragon” in Enochian). “Vovin” is Therion’s best-selling album, selling over 150,000 copies in Europe alone. Christopher Johnson recorded it with studio musicians who were not members of Therion. He says it is his solo album. It is a fantastic melodic album with opera singers and choirs. It ends with “Draconian Trilogy” and “Raven Of Dispersion”, which the band does not perform on stage.

“Draconian Trilogy” songs:
“Draconian Trilogy I – The Opening”
“Draconian Trilogy II – The Morning Star”
“Draconian Trilogy III- Black Diamonds”
