The Transylvanian festival for extreme music, Rockstadt Extreme Fest, announced The Prodigy as a main festival headliner. The English band is one of the creators of the big beat genre and is a favorite of generations. They have 25 million copies sold all over the world.

The headliners for the first festival day will be Sabaton and Marilyn Manson. On the second day Godsmack and In Flames are the main bands. Lamb of God, Arch Enemy, Accept, and Slaughter to Prevail are leading the charge for the third day of the festival.

Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2026 will be held from July 27th to July 31st at a new location. Ghimbav, near Brasov, will be the new home of the metal fans from all over Europe. The new location will offer almost three times more space for the festival camping grounds and new attractions than Râșnov. It is a part of a cultural project, developed by the Municipality of Ghimbav, designed to become a cultural center for multiple events and initiatives. The first of them will be Rockstadt Extreme Fest.

The organizers posted the festival map on the website. There will be more space for the food area and the bars, and no more long queues. The relaxation areas will be bigger too. The train station is near the festival zone.
