The legendary American heavy metal band Nevermore welcomes to the new line-up Jack Cattoi on guitar, Semir Özerkan on bass, and new vocalist Berzan Önen. The band will have its first concert with the new lineup in Istanbul, Turkey, on April 1st. The band has signed with Reigning Phoenix Music, and they will collaborate for the new album.
Nevermore was first formed as Sanctuary band in Seattle in 1985 with vocalist Warrel Dane, and after some changes of musicians, Nevermore band was created in 1992. Warrel Dane was a vocalist. Jeff Loomis on the guitar and Van Williams on the drumms were also in the band. They had seven albums, and in 2011 they did separate because of some music differences between Warrel Dane and the others. Dane has died in 2017 in Sao Paolo, Brazil, while recording his posthumously released solo studio album, “Shadow Work”. He had a heart attack in the night and could not be revived.
In 2025 Jeff Loomis and Van Williams decided to re-create Nevermore with new members. The ex-Nevermore bassist James “Jim” Sheppard has shared his disappointment that he wasn’t invited.
Nevermore has shared a film for their new plans. You can watch it here:
