Secret Rule Announces A European Tour In April As Special Guest Of Ad Infinitum

Secret Rule will be a special guest of Ad Infinitum on a tour in Europe and UK, alongside Skarlett Riot. The tour will start on April 16th in Germany and will finish on Aril 26 in England. Ad Infinitum will present their new album “Abyss”, released via Napalm Records.

On October 24th, 2025 Secret Rule has published their new album “X” via Rockshock Records. The album marks the 10th anniversary of the Italian symphonic metal band.

The writing process once again began with founders Angela DiVincenzo and Andy Menario, the driving creative force behind the band since the beginning. Together, they envisioned an album that would reflect the current landscape of modern metal while preserving the band’s distinctive identity rooted in powerful melodies, anthemic choruses, and emotional storytelling. This time, the duo pushed the boundaries further—introducing rap sections, syncopated breakdowns, and layered electronic textures, all woven into the band’s symphonic and melodic metal framework. The result is a sound that feels unmistakably Secret Rule, yet refreshingly modern and urgent. As the lineup evolved during the album’s development, the arrival of bassist Sofia Basili and drummer Andrea Miazzetto brought new life to the rhythm section. Their impact was immediate: Sofia added deep groove and backing vocals with character and precision, whileAndrea’s drumming brought both heaviness and dynamic fluidity. Though they joined in progress, their contributions were essential in shaping the rhythmic foundation and lifting the songs to a new level of intensity.

From concept to final master, the entire production remained in the hands of the band. AndyMenario curated the arrangements, mixing, and mastering with his signature precision andcinematic touch, while Angela crafted the vocal melodies and lyrics. Their collaboration ensured a cohesive vision from start to finish—every track was shaped with intent, combining artistic freedom and emotional depth. Lyrically, the album explores themes of collapse, resilience, and rebirth—from the destruction of the world we know, to the silent pain we carry inside, to the fight to reclaim our identity in a chaotic digital age. Songs like “Collapse” and “Echoes of the Earth” echo environmental and existential warnings, while “Just a Sacrifice” and “Silent Pain” turn inward, revealing the fractures within ourselves. Tracks such as “Destiny Reload”, “The Storm”, and “The Answer” offer messages of strength and defiance, embracing both vulnerability and power. There’s even space for the unexpected—“Walking Down the Street” brings a fresh twist with an almost pop-metal pulse, proving the band’s versatility.

This tenth album is more than just a milestone—it’s a statement. Secret Rule are not just reflecting on their journey, they’re evolving with it, pushing their sound, embracing new influences, and reaffirming their place as one of the most original voices in modern melodic metal. Slated for release on October 24, this album marks a powerful new chapter in the band’s story—ambitious, fearless, and unmistakably Secret Rule.

The song “Lost In Paradise” was sung by Andy Menario (first male voice we hear), Angela and the special guest Marco Pastorino.
