Norwegian titans of symphonic black metal Dimmu Borgir have announced the release of a new album on May 22nd. “Grand Serpent Rising” will be published via Nuclear Blast Records. The album is recorded in Gothenburg with the acclaimed producer Fredrik Nordström, with whom the band collaborated for “Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia” and “Death Cult Armageddon”. Dimmu Borgir released the single  “Ulvgjeld & Blodsodel” sung in Norwegian. It is a dark saga for heritance and bloodlines.

In October 2026, Dimmu Borgir will go on the “In League With Satan” tour across Europe together with Behemoth. As a special guest will be the Swedish black metal icons Dark Funeral.
