Kerry King Enters Studio In April To Record Second Solo Album

Slayer guitarist Kerry King will enter a studio in April to start recording a new album. After the success of “From Hell I Rise”, which came in May 2024 via Reigning Phoenix Music, Kerry King was on tour with his bandmates. He wrote all of the material for his debut album, all the music, the lyrics. and the vocal part. “From Hell I Rise” was recorded in 2023, at Henson Recording Studios, Los Angeles. Producer was Josh Wilbur, who had previously worked with Korn, Lamb Of God, Avenged Sevenfold and Bad Religion. Kerry King hopes for a new collaboration with him. In “From Hell I Rise” other musucians were the vocalist Mark Osegueda from Death Angel, bassist Kyle Sanders (Hellyeah, Bloodsimple), guitarist Phil Demmel (formerly Machine Head/Vio-lence), and the Slayer veteran Paul Bostaph on drums. Now Kerry King plans a new tour, which will start in 2027, and it will present his second album.
