The German rock band Avantasia will play for the first time in Sofia on June 10th, 2026, in Asics Arena. The show will continue for about two hours. The warm-up band will be the Sofian dark metalers, Velian. They are well-known musicians not only in Bulgaria but also on the world stage. Dark, melancholic melodies, a steampunk vision, and scenic performances with multimedia are emblematic for them. They were supporters or special guests of bands such as Kamelot, Moonspell, Eluveitie, Rotting Christ, Paradise Lost, Powerwolf, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Hypocrisy, Sabaton, Myrath, Warrel Dane, Paradise Lost, and others. Velian’s third album “Embers” was released on March 13th, 2026. It was mastered by Jacob Hansen.
