Bad Religion Performs At Midalidare Rock 2026

The iconic English band Bad Religion will be a headliner on Midalidare Rock 2026. They will play on July 10th. Founded in 1980, Bad Religion takes a unique place in the punk’s history. Created just after the first burst of the genre, they headline the birth of the hardcore scene of the West Shore, adding their melodic riffs and lyrics to the main hardcore rhythm. They founded the “neo-punk” sound at the beginning of the nineties.

The band has long since settled into its current lineup, which represents perhaps the most energetic version of Bad Religion: Greg Graffin (vocals) and Jay Bentley (bass) are joined by Brian Baker (guitarist since 1994), Mike Dimkich (guitar), and Jamie Miller (drums). They define their style as “half-pipe punk” (often called “California skate punk” or “melodic hardcore”), an energetic subgenre of punk rock that served as the soundtrack to skateboarding and surf culture.

Bad Religion continues to diversify their songwriting and production so as not to bore either themselves or their invariably large audience. They have released 17 studio albums. The band’s reputation as socially engaged provocateurs cannot overshadow the fact that they remain one of the most energetic live bands in the world.

Warkings will play in the Wine Valley on July 11. The German-Austrian band was founded in 2018 and released their fifth studio album Armageddon in July last year. This will be their first time in Bulgaria.

The Baboon Show from Sweden are the third new band that will play in Midalidare on July 10th. They were founded in 2003 in Stockholm.
