Christofer Johnsson has announced that he is recording songs for the new album of Luciferian Light Orchestra. LLO is a side project of the founder and composer of the Swedish symphonic titans Therion. LLO has one self-titled album (2015), and Black EP (2016), which contains additional tracks.
The other project of Christofer Johnsson, Defenders Of The Faith, which is a bow to the rock of the 80s, had its debut album release on June 7th, 2025.
This year Therion released the album “Con Orquesta” via Napalm Records. It is a live concert with Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional de México in Mexico City, performed and recorded in 2024. Its 20 songs span all of Therion’s career. Therion will have only one concert in Europe in 2026. On August 1st and 2nd, they will perform at Chania Rock Festival on Crete Island, Greece. Therion are half-retired, and they will play rarely in Europe and more in Latin America and China. The next tours will be when the band releases new albums. They plan to have a new tour in 2029.
