The Austrian festival for rock music, Nova Rock, is located near Nickelsdorf village and the Hungarian and Slovak borders. It was held for the first time in 2005, and every year the fans can meet famous bands, such as Marilyn Manson, Nightwish, Core, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Bullet For My Valentine, Gogol Bordello, Sebastian Bach, Metallica, Judas Priest, and others. In 2020 and 2021 the festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2026 it will be held on the 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th of June. The main headliners are Volbeat, The Cure, Iron Maiden, and Bring Me The Horizon. This year Iron Maiden will continue the celebration of their 50th anniversary with a big world tour. Some of the other bands are Static-X, Dartagnan, Bad Omens, Trivium, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, The Pretty Reckless, The Offspring, Sabaton, Alter Bridge, Sepultura, Papa Roach, Architects, Hollywood Undead, and The Rasmus. From June 11th to 14th, 2026, the Pannonia fields will be shaken very seriously.
