Rockstadt Extreme Fest is the largest Eastern European heavy metal and rock festival. Until the previous year it was located in Râșnov, near Brașov, under the Râșnov Tower. In 2026 it will be held in the fields of Ghimbav, again near Brașov. Chimbav was first mentioned in 1420 in a letter by King Sigismund of Hungary. The new place will offer to the visitors from all over Europe more space for a camping site, more attractions added to the festival program, and in the future, a possibility for enlarging the festival format from three stages to more.

The first headliners for 2026 are Helloween with their world tour for the 40-year anniversary, Godsmack and Lamb Of God. Accept, Alcest, Amorphis, Arch Enemy, Black label Society, Bleed From Within. Castle Rat, Cryptopsy, Deafheaven, Death Angel, Decapitated, Deicide, Elder, Fit For An Autopsy, Godsmack, Hatebreed, Helloween, Igorrr, Immolation, In Extremo, In Flames, Lamb Of God, Malevolence, Monolord, Municipal Waste, Nevermore, Northlane, Nothing More, Of Mice And Men, Pentagram. Perturbator, Signs of the Swarm, Slaughter to Prevail, The Gathering, Thy Art Is Murder, Tribulation, Vended.
