Today the legendary American country singer Dolly Parton has released her first ever rock album, “Rockstar” via Butterfly Records. It contains famous rock song covers and several original tracks. Many famous rock stars are invited to perform the songs with Dolly – Richie Sambora, Steve Perry, Ann Wilson, Sting, John Fogerty, Kid Rock, Steven Tyler, Stevie Nicks, Peter Frampton, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Chris Stapleton, Miley Cyrus, Brandi Carlile, Kevin Cronin, Debbie Harry, Lizzo, Sasha Flute, Rob Halford, Simon Le Bon, Emmylou Harris, Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar, Neil Giraldo, Michael McDonald, Ronnie McDowell, Ringo Starr, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Elton John are some of the persons that are involved.

It is the 49th album for the singer. It contains 30 songs – 9 are original compositions and 21 are iconic rock hymns.

“I can’t tell you how proud I am of the Rockstar album, and I can’t tell you how happy I am that it’s finally here to be released,” wrote the singer on her official website. The album is available for sale.
