On March 22nd, 2026, the legendary project Dire Straits Legacy will come to Varna, Bulgaria. The concert will be in the Palace of Culture and Sport at 20:00. The British musicians will enchant the audience with unforgettable songs such as “Sultans of Swing”, “Money for Nothing”, “Six Blade Knife”.

The band started its career in 1977 and, one year later, became an international sensation with “Sultans of Swing”. The album “Brothers in Arms” has over 30 million copies sold. It is one of the most successful British albums of all time. The Bulgarian fans will have the rare possibility to see and hear the musicians, who were a part of the original band, and to touch the magic of their music. Keyboardist Alan Clark, percussionist Danny Cummings, saxophonist Mel Collins, and guitarist Phil Palmer are former Dire Straits members. The vocalist/guitarist Marco Caviglia is recognized as the top expert on Mark Knopfler’s guitar style. Knopfler hasn’t played with the band since 1992 because he is dedicated to his solo career. Dire Strait Legacy was started in 2007 as a project that will give to the fans the possibility to hear live their favorite tracks. The concerts will be a true gift to all the people who love the authentic sound of rock and roll.

Dire Straits will have more concerts in Bulgaria. On March 23rd they will perform in Sofia. There will be summer performances on June 15th in Plovdiv, June 16th in Veliko Tarnovo, and June 23rd in Burgas.
