Judas Priest was formed in Birmingham, England in 1969 and has an almost 60-year career. Their music is evolving in their 19 albums – “Sin After Sin” (1977), “British Steel” (1980), “Screaming for Vengeance” (1982), “Painkiller” (1990), and “Firepower” (2018), for example. Their last album, “Invincible Shield” (2024), was presented with an extensive world tour. The success in North America was so big that the band made two rounds there the same year. The band is loved equally by the fans and the critics. In 2022 Judas Priest members Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, Ian Hill, and Scott Travis were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame by the godfather of shock rock, Alice Cooper. Their drummer Scott Travis was recently honored with “The Louie Bellson Award” at the “Drumeo Awards”. He received an award for his lasting contribution to drumming. The previous month, at the 76th edition of the Berlin International Movie Festival “Berlinale”, was the premiere of their documentary “The Ballad Of Judas Priest”. It is a journey from their start as poor workers from Birmingham to the world stage.
The Bulgarian fans remember the fantastic concert of Judas Priest in 2024 with three generations of fans in the hall. Now they will see the Birmingham musicians at the open-air Vidas Art Arena.
