Tarja Turunen has presented one incredible show with her compositions and covers. Her soprano filled the almost full Antique Theater in Plovdiv on September 18th, 2026. The Finnish operatic soprano and metal diva was invited by the concert organizer Blue Hills Event. With her on the stage was a string orchestra from the State Opera – Plovdiv and the pianist Guillermo De Medio from Argentina. Tarja is on the “World of Dreams” tour. She has performed songs from her solo career, covers of famous songs from other musicians, and songs from her work with Nightwish. Her own reading of Rammstein’s “Ohne Dich”, “The Unforgiven” of Metallica and “Numb” of Linking Park were unique. The tickets for the show were almost sold out. Fans from 48 countries came to the concert. Some of them, including children, presented flowers to Tarja. Her voice amazed the audience with its tenderness and the interplay between loud and soft sounds. The Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv was filled with wonderful music that touches the soul and makes the mind dream.
