W.A.S.P. will come to Sofia with their tour “1984 – to HEADLESS” on December 9th, by invitation of BGTSC. They started their tour on September 10th in California. They will perform hits from their first four albums. Their special guests in the U.S.A. and Canada are KK’s Priest. The American tour part will end on October 3rd, and the European part of the tour will start on December 4th in Germany.

W.A.S.P. is one of the most scandalous rock and heavy metal bands in the world. Their concerts were forbidden in halls in California and later in many countries in the world. Their shock-rock shows included raw meat thrown at crowds, drinking fake blood, and simulated torture on stage. Their debut album, “F**k Like a Beast”, was claimed as highly offensive. The vocalist and chief songwriter Blackie Lawless (born Steven Edward Duren) is known for his scandalous behavior on stage and for his political views. He implanted social themes in the lyrics of the band, which made it world-famous. He describes the W.A.S.P. shows as an intentional sensation and not as an approval of violence.

The concert in Sofia will be on December 9th at the Inter Expo Center from 20:00 h. You can find tickets in the Eventim.bg network.
