The Portuguese gothic metal legends Moonspell will play in Sofia on March 28th, 2027. They will come to Bulgaria by an invitation from BGTSC. The concert is a part of their tour “God Is A Vampire”, which will start on March 4th in Germany and will finish on April 18th in the Netherlands. The band will present its new album “Far From God”, which was out on July 3rd, 2026 via Napalm Records. “Far From God” marks a new chapter in the band’s history. The musicians worked five years on its compositions, returning to their heavy sound and a dark gothic atmosphere.
On the tour the fans will see a special new stage design, large-scale lighting, and video content. Special guests will be the bands Iotunn and Todomal.
Iotunn are from Denmark and the Faroe Islands and are one of the most perspective young progressive metal bands. The band took part at Wacken Open Air, 70 000 Tons Of Metal, Copenhell and others. Their two albums, “Access All Worlds” (2021) and “Kinship” (2024), blend progressive metal and melodic death metal. Their compositions are inspired by space, nature, mythology, and history.
Todomal is a Spanish band that blends doom metal with classical hard rock and church melodies.
The fans will immerse themselves in three different atmospheres – the gothic metal of Moonspell, the progressive death metal of Iotunn and the doom hard rock of Todomal.
