Bruce Dickinson Returns To Sofia With New Album And Concert on June 28th Next Year – Vidas Art Arena

The “PsychoGod Tour 2027” will include a stop in Bulgaria, with tickets for Fest Club members going on sale this Wednesday.

Bruce Dickinson—a frontman and the primary driving force behind Iron Maiden—is returning to Bulgaria on June 28th, 2027. At the invitation of Fest Team, he will perform a concert at Vidas Art Arena in Sofia. One of the most recognizable voices in the history of heavy metal has once again included Bulgaria in his European tour. The “PsychoGod Tour 2027” will visit various major concert venues and festival stages throughout the summer and autumn of next year. The Sofia concert will feature a new material from the musician’s upcoming solo album, alongside rarely performed tracks spanning his solo career of over 35 years. A pre-sale for Fest Club members begins on Wednesday, October 28th, while general ticket sales open on October 30th via the Ticket Station network, with prices starting at 40 EUR. VIP tickets will also be available for the concert, priced at 108 EUR.

Since joining Iron Maiden in 1982, Dickinson has become one of the most influential figures in global rock and metal music. Off-stage, his background is equally impressive: he is a pilot, a competitive fencer, an author, an entrepreneur, and a brewer. Curiosity and a drive for new challenges are an integral part of his career, and his solo work allows him to explore musical directions beyond the sound for which generations of fans know him as the frontman of Iron Maiden.

Following a year dedicated primarily to touring commitments with Iron Maiden, Dickinson is once again turning his attention to his own music. In 2026, he is working on a new studio album, scheduled for release in the first half of 2027. These new compositions will feature prominently in the upcoming “PsychoGod” tour, alongside songs spanning various periods of his solo career.

On stage in Sofia, Bruce Dickinson will be joined by the musicians with whom he is recording his new album:
Chris Declercq – guitar
Philip Näslund – guitar
Tanya O’Callaghan – bass
Mistheria – keyboards
Dave Moreno – drums

For Dickinson, live performance and genuine interaction with the audience remain the cornerstone of rock music—especially at a time when artificial intelligence is increasingly making its presence felt in the world of art. Regarding the upcoming tour, he remarked: “What we do is real, and right now, that is incredibly important. A real drummer, a real bassist, real guitarists—artificial intelligence can only copy; it can only pretend. It can never fall in love with music, and it cannot truly play. But this band? These musicians can really play!” The European “PsychoGod Tour 2027” begins on June 14 in Belfast, passing through Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, and Serbia, before reaching Sofia on June 28th. Tickets go on presale for Fest Club members on Wednesday, October 28th, while general sales begin on October 30th via the Ticket Station network.
