The preparation for the biggest heavy metal festival in Europe is coming into its end. The festival is been held annually in the first week of August, since 1989 in Wacken village, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

This year the main headliners are Iron Maiden, Helloween, Heaven Shall Burn, Doro, Megadeth and many more. The festival will take place from 02.08 to 05.08. 2023.

This year the weather prognosis is rainy, and the organizers published info that in Northern Germany the arrival to the camping areas is interrupted. The organizers gave info about the parking lot in Hamburg – „Parkplatz Rot“ am Volksparkstadion Hamburg in Exit Volkspark and that there will be a separate routing to the festival grounds. They advise the fans that haven’t started their travel yet to postpone it for the moment.
