There are less than three weeks to Ragnarök Festival. Located in Germany, the festival was founded in 2004 by Ivo Raab with local bands. In 2005, is decided that there would be pagan metal bands. In 2006 the festival started to be held in Lichtenfels, Bavaria. Through the years, the genre varies from pagan to black metal and back to pagan metal style. Some of the bands that played are Alestorm, Eluveitie, Ensiferum, Bucovina, Enslaved, Dark Tranquillity, Varg, Harakiri For The Sky, and many more.

This year, Ragnarök Festival will be held from April 24 to 26. Satyricon, Behemoth and Rotting Christ, who are on tour together, Korpiklaani, Batushka, Dark Oath, Grima, Groza, Saor, Obscurity, Suidakra, Wolfchant and others.
