The Bulgarian band Kikimora performed the concert “One Night At The Opera” together with the orchestra and choir of Ruse State Opera. Conductor was Dimitar Kosev.

The guitarist and composer Nikolo Kotzev is famous for his rock opera “Nostradamus”, recorded in the year 2001. The rock opera was performed for the first time on the 18th and19th of November 2016 with the Ruse State Opera. Their concert in Varna on 04.06.2025 was another fantastic work of their collaboration. They performed songs of Kikimora band, popular arias from famous operas, rock hits such as “We Are The Voice”, “Purple Rain” and “Bohemian Rhapsody”, and various arias from Nikolo Kotzev’s rock opera “Nostradamus”. Soloists of the State Opera Ruse were Nelly Petkova, Preslava Velikova, Petar Kostov, Jiul Leo Lee. Their beautiful timbres and precise performance captivated the audience so much that they were called for an encore several times together with Kikimora. Once again we saw a wonderful interaction between rock and classical music.
