
A new documentary about the British heavy metal legends Judas Priest and their trip to the top of their career will have a world premiere at the 76th Berlinale – Berlin International Film Festival, which will be held from February 12th to 22nd. The film is co-directed by Sam Dunn and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello in his directorial debut. It celebrates the great impact of Judas Priest’s music on the world music culture and their songs that inspire generations of people. Their story, from humble working-class people from Birmingham U.K. to global metal legends defined the sound and look of heavy metal. The band has sold more than 50 million records and released 19 studio albums. With their album “Invincible Shield”, Judas Priest became the first heavy metal band to release studio albums 50 years apart. It is Grammy nominated for “Best Metal Performance”.
